Directors face the cameras!
Last week, Chief Executive David Whitmarsh and Director Richard Jackson were interviewed by ITN Productions for a film – Power Shift: The Renewable Energy Revolution– to be shown at and around COP29 in November.
Recorded at Reuters’ studio in Canary Wharf, London, the interview, which is a segment in a longer film, focused on the unique and transformational capabilities of Standard Gas SG100 technology, and the Company’s plans for a commercial rollout.
“In about five minutes I think Rich and I managed to explain how our technology works, and why it’s ground- breaking,” says David. “We focused on three things. Its carbon reduction potential through the generation of low-to zero carbon energy-from-waste to replace virgin fossil fuels. Its carbon recycling potential through recycling residual wastes into production feedstocks. And its potential to capture and remove carbon by locking it away.”
The full film, supported by the Association for Renewable Energy and Clean Technology, Energy UK, Energy Networks Association and British Hydropower Association, will also be promoted through ITN’s channels and New Scientist online.
